Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club | Sari + Allen
Sometimes you get lucky enough to adore your bride and groom………and sometimes you get lucky enough to adore the whole family! When Sari came in for our first meeting almost a year before the wedding I was smitten with her and her father! Such a sweet and funny family, we automatically felt like we had known each other for years !
Sari showed me photos of her dress, the brides maids dresses and a pinterest board and it was obvious that she was in love with fluffy ivory blooms, candle lights and shimmer! (which girl doesn’t like shiny things?) I quickly grabbed some containers, pulled up some images from our past weddings and within no time at all we had a design plan in place! I used the bridesmaids dresses as my inspiration……..they are to die for!
On the big day, the weather was perfect at the Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club and we created a stunning custom champagne lamor chuppah with a chandelier inside and gold lanterns along the aisle.
The reception ballroom lends its self to the ivories, blushes, champagnes and gold and we created three styles to break up the room. Some high, some low and then a few long kings tables………..which I am still crazy about!
I asked Sari……..
“What was the most eventful, emotional moment of the day ?”
Can I have three?
Having a first look with Allen.
When my bouquet arrived when I was getting ready, it became real. It was everything I wanted and more. Also walking down the aisle to my gorgeous chuppa!!!
Oh and our breakfast room was breathtaking!
When Allen broke the glass under our gorgeous chuppah. I still remember his smile and everyone’s happy tears.
“Miss most about planning your wedding?”
Seeing my best friends and family. It was so nice being with everyone during the process. I also miss organizing gifts for my bridesmaids and exciting surprises.
